A group of students from the Federal 6th are going to organise a series of 9 days of lunchtime activities to raise lots of cash - and keep our Y7 - Y9 students active and learning even through lunch!
We are continuing to raise funds for Cancer Research, We are putting a team forward for the Relay for Life weekend to be held at the William Parker Sports College athletics track on the 12th and 13th September 2009. We have to try and raise as much money as possible before we take part in the Relay for Life - and so we are going to running lots of lunchtime activities which students in Y7-Y9 can pay to take part in.
We have gathered together a group of people to take part in the Relay for Life; we have all registered to take part; we have met with Mrs Monk (our Headteacher) to plan some of the events; we are going to finishing off all of our marketing materials to make sure that everyone knows about our events over the Summer Holidays and then we will be raising as much cash as possible when we come back!
