You know those bags that left on your doorstep ready to fill with everything that you don’t need anymore? We are going to be organising to hand them out in our school - and then we have arranged for lorries to come and collect them....
We will be handing out the Happy Bags through our School Council reps in the week beginning Monday 5th October 2009. We will then keep reminding people to fill them up with all of their unwanted clothes, toys etc - ideal to have a clear our just before Christmas! We will then collect all of the bags back in - and we will raise money through the items sold onto charity
We will send letters home to let people know that the bags are coming - Mrs Monk will help with this We will use our website to tell everyone when the bags are coming and when they have got to be returned to school for collection We will use our school council reps to keep reminding everyone - this is a really good way of raising money and being eco warriers as we recycle unwanted goods too!
