To help Children in need On Nov 19, 2006
Location: The Channel School

Brilliantly organised by
The Charity commitee and Miss Bowden

Research
We logged on to the BBC and ordered a suporters pack and decided to help the yr 11s by doing a cake sale selling cakes and chocolate Pudseys.

And here's who helped us wiith our plan
We consulted with Miss Bowden and the Headteacher about our ideas to see if it was ok and they said that it was fine. Then we got to work on making the cakes and getting the food together.

But we couldn't have done it on our own
We asked the charity commitee to stay after school and help make the cakes so that we could sell them the next day.

Here's what happened
We did a cake sale in Miss Bowdens classroom for pupils and teachers to buy and then with the money we made we gave it to Children in Need.

And this is what changed because we made the effort
It has supported Children in Need through out the UK and children that have been harmed or bullied by their family and friends, have also been given safe homes and have been helped with the money we made.

Money raised 1316.00
