The Problem
The Problem
Learning how to make it better
Learning how to make it better

To help Local Community On Jul 18, 2007
Location: The Channel School

Brilliantly organised by
Mr Stone, Shepway District Council and the Education and Business Partnership

Research
Mr Stone did the research to start with. We all then learnt about different environmental issues that happen in Fokkestone.

And here's who helped us wiith our plan
Mr Stone spoke to people at the Council

But we couldn't have done it on our own
All of year 7 took part in this day rather than normal lessons.

Here's what happened
Year 7 were split into groups with teachers, members of the council and the EBP. We were given a probelm these were, graffiti, litter, dog fouling, chewing gum. We went into the local community to see how big the problem was than came back to school to write a campaign aboutit.

And this is what changed because we made the effort
All of yerar 7 now have a better understanding of the problems that some people cause. We can think more serioulsy about litter and graffiti now and its effects.
