The Giving Nation Social Action Awards  diaries are now closed and will re-open in September 2010

We are pleased to announce this years Awards partner are Concern Universal.  The Award winning school will have the opportunity to visit The Gambia and experience the work of Concern Universal.  Concern Universal works in partnership with local organisations to help people in some of the world‘s poorest communities to improve their quality of life; with improved health, skills, food, security and respect for rights.



In February 2010 pupils and teachers from Tibshelf School, Derbyshire went to Chennai, India with World Vision for a week.  Whilst there the group visited homes and drop-in centres for runaway children witnessing the work of World Vision.  The pupils interviewed local people and got involved with games and songs with the children.
